Dit was rescued from the street in Guatemala and adopted by a lovely couple who love her very much.
Amber
Amber was once found on the streets, malnourished and struggling to survive. Thankfully, she was rescued and found a loving home. Today, Amber lives happily with her human in Antigua Guatemala, where she is cherished for the wonderful individual she is.
More than a portrait
I love every part of the painting process, from the first brushstroke to watching a familiar face slowly come to life on the paper/canvas.
But the most special moment comes when the portrait is finally revealed. Seeing someone recognise the animal they love in a painting for the very first time is something I never get tired of.
That moment is why I paint.
